⭐THE CHITRE PAPER MACHE STORY: José Gonzales makes “diablico” Devil masks for the Corpus Christi festival in Los Santos. Dressed in a red and black costume, they fight the Spanish invader during very codified dances. Around the festival, figurines are made to make fun of public figures. There are only a handful of artisans specializing in this type of mask in the region. These masks are best used as decoration.
