    Upavim Crafts

We started in 1989 with a simple conviction: that women in their community deserve more than circumstance gave them.

What began as a response to infant malnutrition grew into something they could not have imagined—a cooperative of 75+ members, a school, a clinic, a library, and a craft tradition that sustains it all.

Every piece is handmade in La Esperanza, Guatemala, using locally sourced textiles and techniques passed through generations—sewing, woodworking, ceramics, terracotta art.

What they create funds their preschool, pharmacy and daycare.

They are a Fair Trade Federation member because people who make things should be paid fairly, work safely, and build toward something lasting.

You are a part of that when you bring a Fair Trade product home.
