Vikings Vegvisir Compass Necklace

This pendant necklace is designed like The Viking Compass. Vegvisir is first mentioned in the Huld Manuscript. It depicts the Vegvisir symbol, which means, that which shows the way, by combining the words vegur (way) and visir (pointer). The Vikings most likely used a sun compass. A sun compass always points in the right direction. This consists of a vertical pointer on a horizontal surface, on which the pointer's shadow, known as the gnomon, is drawn throughout the day.

You can give this compass pendant necklace which is made of solid stainless steel, to a loved one or a friend who is about to travel or relocate overseas to represent safety, protection, and good luck.
