The rounded shape lets the coffee swirl and cool evenly, and the inner bump mixes the brew as the coffee moves. A built-in mini dripper in the cup releases the fragrance of the coffee from a 15 ml pour.
Cupping-style tasting and daily pour-over brewing are among the stated uses. The server works with Hario V60, Origami and many pour-over brewers.
