Our candle is hand-poured coconut soy wax with a scent of spearmint with an earthy green note.
The candle comes in 4 oz and 10 oz sizes. The 4 oz size burns about 24 hours and the 10 oz size burns about 60 hours.
Aroma activates the olfactory and limbic systems, creating spatial and emotional clarity (Herz, 2016) used to define identity, intention, and environment (Classen, Howes & Synnott, 1994). This experience reduces vigilance making our emotions more stable (McEwen, 2007); it supports mood regulation (Panksepp, 1998), and strengthens cultural belonging (Assmann, 2011).

Pairing Note
Visual: Aroma paired with visual objects becomes cross-modal interpretation. Objects with an aroma become defined sensory cues: their color, form, and presentation shape how the aroma is understood (Lakoff, 1987). Visual-aroma integration strengthens affective response, enhancing pleasure when the scent is preferred and intensifying dislike when it is not (Juslin & Västfjäll, 2008). These responses support memory formation and make the moment easier to recall (Herz, 2016).
