Tuned Chime Set & Wood Stand—7 Tubes

Our 7-tube chime set hangs 7 hand-tuned aluminum tubes from a wood stand and includes a mallet.

The framed wood stand holds seven tubes at 126.22, 136.10, 141.27, 172.06, 194.18, 210.42 and 221.23 Hz, frequencies drawn from the Sun, the Earth year, Mercury, the Platonic year, the Earth day, the Synodic Moon and Venus.

Hand tuning gives each tube clean tones with long sustain. The chime maker tests each tube to within +/-0.5% accuracy. Each tube sounds several frequencies, and a gentle tap brings out the main frequency.

Reading, writing, and music may support emotional well-being and cognitive development while strengthening communication, memory, attention, emotional understanding, and self-regulation.
