Abstract Giraffe Family of Four, 10 Inch

The abstract giraffe family sculpture is carved from serpentine and shows four giraffes together.

Serpentine varies in color from black to brown to green, dark orange and variegated. The sculpture measures 10 inches high.

The sculpture sits on a shelf, table or console.

Organic shapes and natural asymmetry are appealing because their irregular contours lessen neural processing in the LOC and reduce amygdala activity, leading to a calm, low-anxiety visual experience (Bar & Neta, 2007). Biophilic and naturalistic shapes boost occipital alpha band activity (8 to 12 Hz), suggesting less cognitive effort and better visual integration (Zarnegarzadeshirazi & Soroush, 2026). Handcrafted and organically shaped items provide neural comfort and emotional stability, making them a preferred choice for visual ease.
