Handcrafted by Mennonite artisans in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, this oak-finish full bed is built from kiln-dried poplar with hand-fitted joinery.
Poplar is a hardwood from the magnolia family with a straight, even grain, and that grain varies from one bed to the next. A reinforced center support and solid wood slats carry up to 1,500 pounds.
The platform sits close to the floor and leaves room for low-profile storage underneath. Its slats hold a mattress directly or over a box spring. The low frame suits a guest room, an apartment bedroom, or a room with sloped ceilings.
