Handcrafted Hair Conditioner Bar for Kinky Coily Hair

Designed for kinky and coily hair, this handcrafted conditioner bar combines murumuru butter and cupuacu butter.

Murumuru butter is used for intensive emollient locking and to soften highly textured hair cuticles. Cupuacu butter is regularly used for intense water absorption and conditioning. Tucuma butter is a heavy barrier butter used to restore flexibility to dry, coarse hair, and castor oil is commonly used to seal split ends. Cetearyl alcohol adds slip and softens coarse hair cuticles.

Hair care engages touch at every step, and the step depends on the product. Cleansing products lift buildup and surface bacteria from the hair and scalp (Bloomfield et al., 2007). Conditioning products add oils and lipids that smooth the hair surface and reduce fiber friction (Robbins, 2012).
