Handcrafted in India, this black buffalo leather satchel is topped with a flap of Ajrakh printed cotton bordered in leather and measures 9 by 7 by 3 inches (23 by 18 by 8 cm).
Ajrakh is a block-printing tradition of Kachchh in Gujarat, India. Traditionally, cloth passes through 14 stages, including mordanting and resist printing with gum arabic, red clay, and tamarind seed powder, and the dyes are natural indigo and madder.
An adjustable leather handle carries the bag as a shoulder bag, a crossbody, or a satchel, and the central compartment holds a phone, a purse, keys, and makeup. The satchel weighs 1.8 pounds (0.8 kg).
The Sess Parker pinecone emblem represents nature’s perfect mathematics—a reminder that true grounding occurs where deliberate, architectural design meets raw sensory life.
