Chinese Gong & Welcoming Stand—32"

The Welcoming stand carries a 32-inch Chinese gong of your choice from 16 styles, and a traditional Chinese gong mallet completes the set.

Subatomic gongs are Chau-form gongs with an extra lathed band on the outer rim. Chocolate Drop gongs take the Chau form with the outer dark ring lathed away. Heng gongs use thick bronze, a deep rim and a fully lathed face.

The Welcoming stand is made from solid iron in a C-shape, with feet designed to keep it from tipping. Gong weights run 22 lbs 8 oz to 27 lbs depending on style. Activities often associated with creativity, learning, and leisure can also play a meaningful role in cognitive and emotional well-being.
