Beginner Gong & Fruity Buddha Stand—26"

The 26-inch starter set pairs a Chinese gong in Wind, Dark Star or Mother Tesla with the Fruity Buddha stand and the Dragonfly mallet.

Dark Star gongs combine thick metal and a deep rim with an unlathed rim around a fully lathed interior. Wind gongs carry a fully lathed, shiny face and a flat edge, and a gentle tap with a hard mallet gives a fundamental note that builds to a crash. Mother Tesla gongs are fully unlathed, left as cast, with a dark appearance and a deep tone.

The Fruity Buddha stand measures length 33" and height 35" and depth of base 27". The Dragonfly mallet measures 12.5 inches overall, with a 3-inch head thickness and a 2.75-inch head width.
