Chinese Gong & Internal Wave Hanger—24"

Our Internal Wave Gong Hanger set ships with a Chinese gong in 24-inch size from 13 offered styles plus a traditional Chinese gong mallet.

Dark Star gongs hold deep notes with a contained crash, using an unlathed rim around a fully lathed interior. Solar Flare gongs have a flat face with concentric bands of lathed and unlathed circles. Subatomic gongs add a second lathed band on the outer rim of the Chau form.

The Internal Wave Gong Hanger hangs the gong from a wall plate, with hooks spaced 6, 9 or 12 inches apart. Mounted to a wall stud it holds gongs up to 44 inches or 60 lbs, and mounted with drywall anchors it holds gongs up to 32 inches or 25 lbs. Gong weights run 9 lbs to 12 lbs depending on style.
