Knit Bob-omb

A knit-style sculptural figure 3D printed in lightweight PLA to look like a cozy knitted plush, with a fully spinning wind-up key on the back. The key turns freely, which makes it a desktop fidget as well as a display piece.

The back key spins freely, so each spin repeats with a steady rhythm. Rhythmic regulation profiles use repetitive, predictable, and continuously recurring motor patterns to maintain attentional engagement, and benefit from the consistency, cadence, and predictability of repeated physical actions (Nakamura & Csikszentmihalyi, 2002).
