Handcrafted Curl Clump Defrizz Bar

Developed for fine to medium curly and wavy hair, this handcrafted water-activated styling bar sits in a tin and melts between the hands.

The bar is used after other styling products to refresh curl pattern and add texture, weight, shine, and moisture to the hair. It carries an Orange Cream scent.

Hair care engages touch at every step, and the step depends on the product. Cleansing products lift buildup and surface bacteria from the hair and scalp (Bloomfield et al., 2007). Conditioning products add oils and lipids that smooth the hair surface and reduce fiber friction (Robbins, 2012). Styling and leave-in products add glide through the same surface smoothing, which lowers mechanical stress on the fibers during combing and styling (Robbins, 2012; Rele & Mohile, 2003). • Best used for fine to medium wavy and curly hair between washes.
• Use: On mostly dry to dry hair, remove the bar from the tin and rub between the hands to melt some product. Splash water on one hand, rub the hands together to activate, and apply from the ends up through each section. Reapply where needed, and finish with hair spray if desired.
