The Spa Soy Wax Melts are hand-poured from a soy wax blend and phthalate-free fragrance oils.
The scents include eucalyptus & bergamot, garden mint, fresh linen, grapefruit and lavender.
Melt a piece in an electric or tea light wax warmer in a living room, a bedroom or a bathroom.
Aroma activates the olfactory and limbic systems, creating spatial and emotional clarity (Herz, 2016) used to define identity, intention, and environment (Classen, Howes & Synnott, 1994). This experience reduces vigilance making our emotions more stable (McEwen, 2007); it supports mood regulation (Panksepp, 1998), and strengthens cultural belonging (Assmann, 2011).
Note: Slight variations in color or appearance occur from batch to batch
Pairing Note
Visual: Aroma paired with visual objects becomes cross-modal interpretation. Objects with an aroma become defined sensory cues: their color, form, and presentation shape how the aroma is understood (Lakoff, 1987). Visual-aroma integration strengthens affective response, enhancing pleasure when the scent is preferred and intensifying dislike when it is not (Juslin & Västfjäll, 2008). These responses support memory formation and make the moment easier to recall (Herz, 2016).
