Handcrafted Beard Oil, Balm and Soap Bar Set
Devised as a three-piece beard set, this handcrafted set pairs a beard oil, a beard balm, and a body soap bar in the same scent for scent layering.
Beeswax in the balm is usually used for shielding and locking in hydration. Argan oil is also frequently used to smooth frizz.
Shaving and beard care engage touch before, during, and after the shave. Pre-shave oils and shaving creams are worked into the skin and hair with warm, slow, circular pressure, which adds glide for the razor (Robbins, 2012). Beard oils, balms, and conditioning blends are massaged through the beard to the skin underneath, adding oils that smooth the hair surface and reduce fiber friction (Robbins, 2012). The skin and hair of the face contain touch receptors, and the pressure of working a product in activates them (McGlone et al., 2014; Löken et al., 2009). Slow, rhythmic pressure is associated with reduced stress and relaxation (Field, 2010).
Anyone with a skin condition, allergies, or sensitivities should consult a physician or dermatologist before use.

Pairing Note
Aroma: Topical interaction paired with aroma becomes aromatic‑surface experience. Cultures combine botanicals with oils, creams, and hair treatments because aroma carries symbolic meaning, lineage, and spatial identity (Classen, Howes & Synnott, 1994). These practices persist because aromatic pairing strengthens emotional recall (Herz, 2016) and supports cultural continuity (Assmann, 2011).
