Rounded Borosilicate Glass Lid, 1826® Collection

The rounded glass lid has stainless steel trim and a tapered knob inspired by the 1826® saucepan. It is made of borosilicate glass, which is shock-resistant and tolerates temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) for covered roasting in the oven. The rounded shape retains moisture during cooking, and the transparent glass shows the food. The lid comes in four sizes: 6 in, 7 in, 8 in, and 9.5 in.

The 1826® collection commemorates the world's first stamped saucepan, made in 1826 at a factory in Fesches-le-Châtel. The tapered knob of the lid echoes the shape of that original.
