Handcrafted Chamomile & Honey Soap on a Rope
Formulated as a loofah soap bar on a rope, this handcrafted bar soap is made with chamomile flower extract, honey extract, and coconut oil, and the loofah is part of the bar. Vegetable glycerin is regularly used for sustained hydration.
The oils are saponified with sodium hydroxide, and saponified oils are commonly used to lift dirt and sebum. Honey also acts to support hydration. Chamomile also helps calm and soothe irritated skin.
Skin care engages touch at each step of a routine, and the step depends on the product. Cleansing products lift surface oils, debris, and bacteria from the skin (Aiello & Larson, 2002).
