Mint and Tea Tree Tooth Powder with Neem and Kaolin Clay
Constructed as a tooth powder, this formula combines kaolin clay, calcium carbonate, papain, xanthan gum, mint extract, neem extract, and tea tree essential oil.
Calcium carbonate is frequently used as a mild abrasive polish, for remineralization support, and for whitening. Some laboratory studies suggest that kaolin may remove surface stains and polish enamel with low dentin abrasion. Mint extract is also commonly used to mask unpleasant tastes, provide fresh breath, and cool the gums. Neem also acts to help limit plaque formation and fight oral bacteria. Tea tree essential oil is also frequently used to control oral bacteria and freshen breath.
Anyone with a skin condition, allergies, or sensitivities should consult a physician or dermatologist before use.
